Statment from Evaristo Hipolito
My apologies for using the web site rather than saying this at a meeting, but it's only cause my foreign heavy accent (sometimes is hard to understand me)and I want everyone to understand what I'm saying here.
1st
I want to thank Allan Rogers for his patience and understanding during our brake down at the second day ( 3.5 hours at a speed of 6 to 3 mph was pretty insane, lol) and also want to apology to him for not being able to get him to the weight in on time.
2nd
I just want a make this statement to every single member of the Hudson Valley bassmasters, as you all know I own a old boat, with an old engine and old everything on my rig, there for as a guest on my boat you need to know that brake downs or equipment failure on my boat are possible, also I push my rig to the limit, and use it to the fullest, sometimes I bring that boat to spots that some people wouldn't bring their canoes to, so with that said when someone steps into my boat, he needs to know that they gonna have to put up with the rig and myself, I have my own personality and do things my way, always with safety in mind. I do adjust my driving to the person that is with me, with some members the ride can be bumpy and wild but with others it be as smooth as I can possibly make it.
3rd
Most important of all is that everyone can enjoy a safe and fun day of fishing and if someone is not comfortable fishing out of my boat, be it cause of boat or myself, Please mention it to the tournament director and I'm sure he will find you another boat or will have a word with me.
Again my apologies for using the web site and not a meeting for this statement, I wish everyone a great fishing season, full of fun and with no breakdown of any source.
Your fellow member,
Evaristo Hipolito
P.S. thank you to all that try to help!!

Hey skeeterman76, sorry for asking but not really sure who you are, lol are you currently a member of the club? think we only have two skeeters in the club and wasn't aware of any of them been bilingual, lol just curious thats all.
P.S. probably be a good idea to stick to English here so everyone knows whats going on.

Re: Statment from Evaristo Hipolito
Evaristo, as tourny director for our club now for quite a few years I have NEVER heard a bad word pertaining to how you handle your rig or how you fish. I wouldnt hesitate 1 second to be a guest in your boat. As far as the break down, well s--t happens and thats pretty much all I can say Even on new boats there are break downs. Really looking forward to seeing you in the club next season and fishing the trail. Don't let it get ya down.
BTW I have no idea who skeeter is either
