        HUDSON VALLEY BASSMASTERS
          
Minutes: Accepted with three corrections.
Membership: No change in membership from the previous month. Total membership - 39,
Boaters - 22, Non-boaters- 22, charter members- 5.

     DUES FOR THE 2008 SEASON ARE DUE IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER!

Nominations are open for the office of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and two members of the board.
Youth: Their next tournament is on the Walkill River. They are also holding nominations for elections.
Treasurer: The final accounting of the expenses for the six-man team event were reconciled with a return of $374 to the treasurer. Only 2 boats were on hand for the mid-week on the Mohawk River Lock 6.
Federation: The last state tournament is on Lake George. At the Dec/Jan meetings of the State Federation, the tournaments are expected to be restructured to encourage greater participation.
Tournaments: The pay out for lakes Lillinonah and Saratoga, and the drawing for the last tournament of the year,
Hudson River, were held.

Old Business: Michael Wiston relayed that the Kerchal Camp was a great success and that he would be running it next year in August. The boaters of the club were thanked for their time and efforts.
Mike also suggested that perhaps a Casting Kids could be held at the camp in 2008. The CT/NY
jurisdiction question has to be looked into first.
New Business: Members voted for spending $50 for the warranty for the scale. Charlie Blasi wants us to think about the 2008 two day tournament. Again Oneida and Champlain( maybe up the lake) were quickly mentioned, along with Oneida one day and Onondaga the next.
The awards dinner will be in early February.
